An Examination and proposal of changes in an informative system of stock control in a small company

This bachelor thesis entitled "An Examination and proposal of changes in an informative system of stock control in a small company" proposes structure of optimal information system for stock management of small locksmith company called ZÁMEK. First part of thesis examine former information system. Second part introduces and evaluate commercially available information systems for stock control which are suitable for the company's needs. The thesis proposes information system for stock management, which will lead to improvements of in-house processes and will increase competitive advantage.

This master's thesis deals with analysis and selection of a new information system for a small company Výtahy – Elektro Žižka, s.r.o., which is engaged in manufacturing, reconstructing, and with revision of elevators. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse current condition of company’s hardware and software equipment and eventually suggest some possible improvements. Furthermore the thesis deals with main business processes according to which the information system will be chosen. Based on these changes, the time and financial plan will be formed.

Analysis of the accounting of tangible fixed assets in accounting programs ACONTO and MONEY S3

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to compare two selected accounting programs and choose the best one for the evidence and the accounting of tangible assets. Nowadays, most companies use for evidence various accounting programs. For this thesis there were selected programs ACONTO and MONEY S3. This thesis also describes characteristics of fixed assets, especially tangible assets. There are defined the methods of acquiring, including leasing, valuation, depreciation and displacement. The whole thesis contains qualitative results. These results deal with practical application of both accounting programs. The investigation includes the description of the differences and following evaluation of two selected accounting programs. Based on these results, in the end of the bachelor thesis are shown recommendations for improving these accounting programs.

Analysis of the usability of selected economic software in management accounting

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyze the usability of selected economic software in management accounting. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes knowledge of the areas of management accounting and economic software. In the practical part, the representatives of economic software suitable for the analysis are selected. At first the information gathered from the producers´ websites is used to verify whether the potentially suitable products would be suitable for supporting selected management accounting related tasks. The products which do not meet the condition of free availability are subsequently excluded from further consideration. At last the list of the considered products is narrowed down to the ones most frequently used in the Czech Republic. Respecting the criteria described above, the products HELIOS Red, Money S3, POHODA and PREMIER System were chosen as the representatives suitable for further analysis. Each of the software is assessed using the following criteria: cost classification options, support of costing and budgeting, export of data to MS Excel and user friendliness. Respecting the chosen criteria, the analysis reveals that the only software suitable for use in management accounting is PREMIER System. In this software a creation of a specific costing using a model example is demonstrated.
